Meanwhile, ProEvents International Sdn Bhd Managing Director, San Boon Wah said he was confident that ticket sales for the friendly match between Harimau Malaya and Chelsea FC would receive a positive response despite the match being held during the fasting month.
“So far, we managed to sell about 30,000 tickets for the match and we’re quite confident that the numbers will increase,” he said.
San said ticket holders for the Malaysia-Chelsea match could also watch The Blues’ training session at the National Stadium on July 20, without the need to get other passes.
He said the English club was expected to arrive in Malaysia on July 18 before departing on July 23 to conclude their 2013/14 Asian pre-season tour against the Indonesia XI team at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta.
